Chef Olintho respects the privacy of people who visit our website, contact us about culinary services, or communicate with our professional Instagram account. This policy explains the information we may process, why we use it, and the choices available to you.

Information we receive

We may receive information you choose to provide through our website, email, consultation or inquiry forms, and Instagram business messages. Depending on how you contact us, this may include your name, contact information, event details, preferences, message content, and other information you voluntarily share.

Instagram business messages

Chef Olintho uses an internal Instagram opportunity-monitoring tool to help identify genuine business inquiries and messages that may need a response. For incoming Instagram messages, the tool may process Instagram-scoped identifiers, username or display information when available, message and conversation identifiers, timestamps, the message content needed for classification, the resulting classification, and a limited message preview for operational logging.

The tool is designed for monitoring and classification. It does not automatically reply to Instagram users, initiate conversations, publish content, like posts, follow or unfollow accounts, delete messages, or block users. The current classifier is deterministic and does not send Instagram direct-message content to an external AI provider.

How we use information

We use information to respond to inquiries, evaluate availability and service requests, plan potential or confirmed engagements, operate and improve our website and business communications, maintain security and reliability, prevent duplicate processing, and keep limited operational records where reasonably necessary.

Website analytics and service providers

Our website may use analytics and infrastructure providers, including Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, Webflow, and other service providers that support website hosting, performance, communications, or business operations. These providers may process technical information according to their own terms and privacy practices.

Sharing and sale of information

Chef Olintho does not sell personal information or Instagram message data. Information may be shared with service providers that support our website or business operations, when reasonably necessary to provide requested services, or when required by law.

Retention

We keep information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including responding to inquiries, maintaining business and accounting records, supporting security and fraud prevention, resolving disputes, and meeting legal or contractual obligations. The Instagram monitoring tool is designed to retain limited operational records rather than unnecessary complete conversation histories.

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect information in our care. No method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Your choices and privacy rights
